These gorgeous round tea balls are meticulously handmade with premium organic Silver Needle White Tea from China, with dried globe amaranth and chrysanthemum flowers tied inside.
Flowering Tea Balls are an artistic Chinese tea. They are carefully handmade using a special grade of silver needle and/or green tea as the base with various flowers added. They slowly open and “bloom” as the teas brews in hot water. The tea drinker can enjoy the mellow taste of tea and at the same time enjoy the beautiful blooming flowers.
We source our blooming teas from the Shekou Linbin Tea Garden Estate, grown in the Ningde, Fujian region using EU compliant natural farming methods.
When submerged in hot water the bloom dances open and the tea brews to reveal a stunning yellow and red bloom of chrysanthemum and globe amaranth flowers.
The liquor is delicate and cleansing with a mellow, sweet taste and floral aroma. Can be steeped multiple times.
